The Smart Set

Published digitally, The Smart Set is a nonfiction literary magazine covering cultures and ideas, arts and science, and global and national affairs. While working as the Art Director for the publication, projects included designing a new logo featuring hand-drawn typography, creating editorial illustrations, and designing all promotional materials for the magazine. The logo redesign also paired with the rebrand of TSS’s Instagram page, with posts combining vibrant illustrations with pull quotes from their corresponding articles.

The merchandise design features playful and colorful imagery, pairing TSS logo with digital illustrations. The artwork is evergreen and does not call out to a specific issue or article, allowing the products to be repurposed and distributed for years.
